Square One is hosting a Back-To-School Kick Off Training on Saturday, September 10th from 10:00am to 5:00pm. The event features national speaker, blogger, and author Amanda Morgan of notjustcute.com. Join us as she helps us go deeper in developing intentional interactions with the children and families we serve.
Amanda Morgan holds a BA in both elementary and early childhood education and an MS in family and human development. Her past experience includes teaching in public, private, and migrant school settings as well as teaching preschoolers, grade- schoolers, college students, teachers, and parents. She writes, speaks, and consults on the topic of intentional, whole child development and is the creator of the blog, Not Just Cute. You can follow Amanda on her website and on Facebook.
Minus 9-5, the new Southeastern Ready Region partner, will be on-site to share new and exciting developments happening in early childhood and how it supports you as an educator. Arti Kumar-Jain, CEO of Love & Light 4 Kidz, will also be leading participants in a session on Mindfulness and Self-Care as we seek to find ways to manage in even the most stressful times.
