Will your child be age 5 by Sept 30? Register by August 15!

Your will need the following items: 

-Original copy of your child's birth certificate
-Recent physical (dated within one year of the first day of school)
-Your child's immunization record
-Two proofs of your address (current utility bill, lease and/or home contract)
-Completed registration packet for your school division

Summer is fast upon us! Please plan to make an appointment for your students that will need school physicals and immunizations that will be required for them in September. Pre-K, K-5, rising 7th grader and rising 12th Grader as well as those heading off to college will require immunizations and physicals.

To help support some of our families Virginia Beach Department of Public Health (VBDPH) in partnership with the Virginia Beach City Public Schools (VBCPS) will be hosting clinics for back to school physicals and immunizations during the months of July, August and the beginning of September. They will be offering Tdap, HPV, Meningococcal, COVID-19 vaccines as well as school physicals. VBCPS will be notifying families when and where the clinics will take place so that they can schedule appointments. Walk-ins will not be permitted, however staff will assist families in finding an appointment at another clinic location.

Our rising K5 students will only be scheduled at the Virginia Beach Department of Public Health. All clinics will be by appointment only.

Please Note ***The child's Vaccine record will be required for all clinics ensuring the child is receiving the right vaccines!***
