Virginia Beach GrowSmart is excited for our 2024 Read Across America Day event. Our local event will be held on Friday, March 1, 2024. The event will kick-off at 9:00 am with over 88 participating school and childcare sites. We will provide 7,556 books for children across our community. Read Across America Day stands as a testament to the profound significance of literacy in our society. At GrowSmart, our core belief is that every child deserves access to quality and affordable early childhood education.
