GrowSmart provides ongoing professional development opportunities to early care and education professionals. Due to the high turnover and low wages of this workforce, this training is free and supports best practice and developmentally appropriate care. Early education training opportunities occur monthly for all levels – entry, leadership and quality improvement. Due to licensing requirements, early education professionals need 16 hours annually of professional development and training.
